Environmental & Engineering Geoscience (E&EG) Journal

In 1995, the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) and the Geological Society of America (GSA) jointly launched Environmental & Engineering Geoscience (E&EG), a reorientation of the Bulletin of the Association of Engineering Geologists, which was published from 1968 through 1994. E&EG is dedicated to publishing peer-reviewed, high-quality original research and case studies on environmental geology, engineering geology, engineering geophysics, geotechnical engineering, geomorphology, low-temperature geochemistry, applied hydrogeology, and near-surface processes.

Published quarterly and hosted at GeoScienceWorld (http://eeg.geoscienceworld.org/), E&EG also publishes articles ahead-of-issue as soon as they are ready. Current and past issues are available to GSA members who select the journal as part of their annual dues and subscriptions options and to AEG members as a benefit of membership. The journal welcomes your manuscript submissions at https://www.editorialmanager.com/eeg/default.aspx.

For more information or to discuss possible special issue topics, please contact the co-editors: Abdul Shakoor ([email protected]) and Eric Peterson ([email protected]).

Environmental & Engineering Geoscience (E&EG), is a quarterly journal devoted to the publication of original papers that are of potential interest to hydrogeologists, environmental and engineering geologists, and geological engineers working in site selection, feasibility studies, investigations, design or construction of civil engineering projects or in waste management, groundwater, and related environmental fields. All papers are peer reviewed.

The editors invite contributions concerning all aspects of environmental and engineering geology and related disciplines. Recent abstracts can be viewed under “Archive” at the web site, “http://eeg.geoscienceworld.org”. Articles that report on research, case histories and new methods, and book reviews are welcome. Discussion papers, which are critiques of printed articles and are technical in nature, may be published with replies from the original author(s). Discussion papers and replies should be concise.
