2023 - 2024 Jahns Distinguished Lecturer

Cynthia Palomares

Cynthia Palomares, PG, PE AEG Past President, retired adjunct instructor at Texas Engineering Extension Service at Texas A&M University, and retired Project Manager of the Waste Permits Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has been selected by AEG and GSA-EEGS as the Richard Jahns Distinguished Lecturer for 2023-2024.  This lecture series honors the late Dr. Jahns by promoting student awareness of environmental and engineering geology through annual lectures at academic institutions.  The Jahns lecturer additionally typically visits AEG Chapters during the year.
