February 2024 Chapter Meeting details: 

Our speaker will be Brian Collins, Senior Geotechnical Engineer with BGC Engineering, on the Pretty Rocks Landslide impacting Denali Park Road in Alaska.  We are honored to have former Denali National Park geologist Denny Capps also joining us on Tuesday.

Social hour will begin at 5:30, announcements and introductions at about 6:45, talk will start at about 7. 

Bring your own dinner or buy from the food truck at New Terrain!   Remember -- we are trying a Bring-Your-Own-Dinner format this month but with a lower meeting price of $10-$20 to cover just the New Terrain space rental. February attendees can bring a sack dinner or take-out, or people can order dinner from the food truck at New Terrain. According to New Terrain's food truck calendar, it will be La Baja Fish Tacos & Grill (subject to change). Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be provided; adult beverages are on your own. As always, there's no charge for students to attend. If students don't bring their own dinner, the chapter will buy them dinner from the food truck at New Terrain.
