Abstract 

Lithium Americas is developing the largest and most advanced lithium project in the United States. The company has worked on the project for more than a decade and is preparing to begin construction. The talk will describe the efforts taken to date to develop a highly responsible lithium mine and processing facility that will ultimately provide lithium carbonate essential for reducing carbon emissions and securing our nation’s future.
