2016 Environmental and Engineering Geology Spring Symposium
Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10
Radford University, Radford, Virginia

The second annual AEG-BWH spring environmental and engineering geology symposium will be held on the campus of Radford University in the new Center for the Sciences in the College of Science and Technology, adjacent to the relocated Museum of the Earth Sciences and Planetarium. Located in the Valley & Ridge Physiographic Province and on the banks of the beautiful New River, Radford is nestled in some of the most spectacular geology in the Mid-Atlantic.

This year's event will consist of traditional poster and oral presentations, a meet and greet social event, and a half-day field trip to Mountain Lake to learn about the amazing structural geology and landslides of Giles County, Virginia. Structure and geomorphology of the Narrows Thrust Sheet display world class domes, plunging anticlines, synclines and more.

For further details and to register online visit the symposium website and/or view the event flyer.
