Automobile Travel
From I-10 East, take the Poydras Street/Superdome Exit (Exit 234-B). Follow Poydras Street eight blocks to Camp Street; turn left on Camp Street. Go three blocks to Common Street and turn left. Motor lobby entrance is located on the right at 611 Common Street between Camp Street and St. Charles Avenue.
Shuttle Services
The JW Marriott has no complimentary airport shuttle service. There are airport shuttles for hire.
Weather and Attire
In New Orleans in September, the normal daily high is in the middle 80’s to middle 90’s and the normal lows at night are in the high 60’s to low 70’s. All field trip participants should wear appropriate field clothes and comfortable closed-toe shoes.
Recommended attire for the technical sessions is business casual. Banquet attire is business-formal / formal.
