President's Message

Welcome to the AEG. We are proud to be the leaders in environmental and engineering geology. This web site is designed to promote the profession through our Operational Committees, Technical Working Groups, Section, Chapter and Annual Association Meetings and our Publications. In addition to information for our Members, there is information for students, teachers and the public at large about environmental and engineering geologists. 

Our current Strategic Plan includes the following 5 goals for the AEG:

 

1. To advocate the value of environmental and engineering geology,
2. To assist and support Sections and Chapters and their programs,
3. To strengthen students and young professional’s awareness of the field of environmental and engineering geology and increase their participation in AEG,
4. To create a communication plan both within the association and for public outreach, and
5. To make the AEG Annual Meeting a more valuable resource to the Membership and public.
