American Rock Mechanics Association 49th US Rock Mechanics / Geomechanics Symposium
The American Rock Mechanics Association invites you to its 49th US Rock Mechanics/Geomechanics Symposium to be held in San Francisco, Calif. from June 28-July 1. The 2015 program will focus on new and exciting advances in rock mechanics and geomechanics. San Francisco is one of the country’s most dynamic cities. Home to some the world’s most innovative companies (Silicon Valley is nearby), San Francisco is known for its beautiful hills and views, its world-class restaurants, and its sophisticated cultural institutions. The symposium will be held at the Westin St. Francis on Union Square in the heart of the city.
Technical tours and field trips are being planned. Sightseeing tours will include various city landmarks, social activities and other attractions. Short courses and workshops will be held immediately prior to the symposium and will be listed as they are confirmed. Details will be provided on the symposium web page as they become available.
